There is a fire outside of my home. It appears to be around one of the neighbor's homes, it burns so brightly, yet it's only outside my window. I cannot physically see it, or feel the warmth of said fire. I'm tempted to go out just to see that bright, bright burning mass myself. If only I could go out and smell it, maybe even feel it. But, I don't think touching it would be a good idea.

I can almost feel the warmth and smell the horrid fumes of whatever they might be burning in there, yet I still want to experience more. Maybe I should be one with the fire. I should burn. If only I could be thrown in. Instead of rotting, I could just burn to a crisp!

okay so Price/Ghost one shot where Ghost is a tow-truck driver and Price is a cop, and Ghost sees Price parked in a fire lane while he's inside a store buying cigarettes or a coffee and tows his ass, and Price has to walk all the way to the impound lot just steaming mad, where he meets this huge, scarred-up ex-military tow truck driver who isn't the least bit intimidated by him. But Price tries to throw his badge around a little, so Ghost (ornery motherfucker that he is) decides to teach him a lesson personally, and makes it his life's mission to catch Price parked illegally and tow first his squad car, and then later on his personal vehicle. Price tries to catch Ghost doing things he could arrest him for but Simon is the most boring man on the planet, he works, goes home, drinks one beer, sleeps, rinse repeat ad infinitum. So Price arrests Johnny for something bullshit instead (Ghost only has one friend and no family), and Ghost has to go down to the precinct to bail him out. Price starts leaving Gaz in the vehicle to stop Ghost from towing him, but he tows it with Gaz inside as retaliation for the Johnny arrest.

Culminating in them having an altercation when Price finally catches Ghost hooking up his car, and after a few punches are thrown they probably end up on the ground making out sloppy style.

Is this anything? I feel like this is something.

same age padawans au where they’ve been in a weird wired frenemies thing for ages but now that they’re both mature adults (all of 24/25 years old) they’re more friends than enemies….

And it’s Obi-Wan that Anakin tells when he’s decided he’s going to leave the Order, not anyone else. He has a wife. There was a pregnancy scare a few weeks ago and it made her want their relationship to stop being a secret so they could really have kids. He has to leave the Order. Doesn’t Obi-Wan understand?

Obi-Wan, who has been a little in love with Anakin since they were younglings, does not understand. Not one bit. Instead of wishing him well and helping him pack, he goes to the Council and requests a mission in the Outer Rim….perhaps a month long or more…perhaps undercover? No contact with anyone on Coruscant. And maybe they could assign Anakin Skywalker as his back up? He can help with the undercover aspect.

And at first, Anakin is pissed because he was planning to resign from the Order in the next few days, but Obi-Wan convinces him to go on this mission with him….one last mission as a Jedi. To say goodbye to the Jedi life.

Obviously, Obi-Wan sort of wants to go on one last mission with Anakin because in his dreams, he wants the mission to go so perfectly that Anakin stays with him the Order. But realistically, he mostly wants to go on this mission to say goodbye to Anakin and then let him go, soaking up all his warmth and light, memorizing every casual touch bestowed on him because he knows they’re ticking down to the last handful of seconds together.

But then obviously the mission works TOO well and Anakin falls in love with Obi-Wan but doesn’t admit to it even to himself before they’re on the ship about to head back to Coruscant and Anakin realizes he doesn’t want to leave this planet because he doesn’t want to leave Obi-Wan if it could always be like this so he crashes the ship during take off so they can stay longer because he’s 24 and doesn’t know how to handle the immensity of his love except through destruction

i’ll try to not make this an essay. we just celebrated four years together, three married, on halloween! i’ll say i knew pretty quickly. i think within three conversations i was thinking “this is someone i’m going to love very very much.” i’ve never been very good at being. normal sjdksjsj so i’m pretty sure our first convos consisted of me rambling about mothman for some reason? i was terrified of being annoying but i also just. enjoyed talking to him so much. there’s a quote from if beale street could talk where james baldwin writes, “fonny liked me so much that it didn’t occur to him that he loved me,” and that’s exactly how it felt. there has always been just a sense of understanding between us, things we communicate w/o words. he’s my best friend and it’s absolutely insane to me that he loves me this much too???
